Philadelphia Police are looking for a shooter that killed an 18 year old at a recreation center playground this evening in North Philadelphia.
The shooting happened at 5:48PM, where the playground was filled with kids and adults. Children on the playground were only a few feet from the shooting. The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced at 6:11PM.
Police have not been able to determine a motive on the incident. Police describe the shooter as a male in his 20's, five feet six inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen fleeing on a bicycle on the 2200 block of Huntington Street wearing a multi-colored sweater and multi-colored sneakers.
Police are also checking to see if the shooting was captured on near-by surveillance video.
