Eagles DeSean Jackson Pays Tribute To Members Of Wounded Warrior Project

Posted: Updated:

On a day when we remember September 11th, Eagles' receiver DeSean Jackson spent his day saying thank you to those who have served in a very big way.

The Eagles receiver donated $50,000 to the Wounded Warriors Project and spent some one-on-one time with Sgt. Eric Heisler.

A shoulder injury brought the 27-year-old Heisler back home. Heisler has been on four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The pair talked about everything from the Eagles' offense to our national defense.
