           Let's talk about the big shoe craze---Wedged Sneakers! Fabulous People like Beyonce, Tracee Ellis Ross and Alessandra Ambrosio are rocking the high end version by designer Isabel Marant.  Then I noticed shoe designer Steve Madden has created a cheaper version of the sneakers. So are we loving this new trend?

Here's my take:
          I personally LOVE the Isabel Marant "Willow" High-top sneakers! If I could talk my husband into letting me buy a pair for $700, I would be at Barney's right now, at the register! Lucky for me, they are sold out in most places, so I don't have to torture myself. Now for a little cheaper--design house's like Ash, See by Chloe, and Marc Jacob also have similar styles. Theirs will run you between $225 and $375 at Neiman Marcus. The Steve Madden "Hilight" replicas, are yours for the bargain price of $150. Steve Madden often imitates high-end designers and his version is a total copy of the Isabel Marant sneakers. Now you guys know I'm not a fan of copy-cats, BUT like I always say "to each her own." I would wear the Ash brand or one of the other high end designers, because they don't look like copies. Now if my husband is still freaking out over the cost...my plan will likely be to get a pair of high top Air Jordan's! I think this is another great option for those who love the high top sneaker trend. Rihanna loves her Jordan's, she's been spotted out and about in the sneakers. Next we move on to how to wear this trend. The sneakers look great with your skinny jeans or leggings, especially leather leggings. Then top off your look with a cute tee, a scarf and a blazer, parka, or leather jacket for those chilly days. You can also rock your high tops with both short and maxi skirts or even a dress to add a little edge to your look! Happy Shopping Ladies...see you at the checkout counter!
