Posted: Updated:
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

The tables were turned on a would-be robber after a Winslow Township pharmacist opened fire on him.

It happened around 2 a.m. Thursday afternoon inside Jolin's Pharmacy on the 400 block of Sicklerville Road.

Police say the suspect demanded Oxycontin, but the pharmacist pulled out a gun and fired several shots at him.

The man ran out of the store, and police don't know if he had a gun or if he was hit.

No one inside the pharmacy was hurt.
