Man Takes Cash Drawer In Burglary Of Philly Pizza Shop

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police are searching for the man behind the burglary of a Philadelphia pizza shop.

Surveillance video captured a man forcing open the rear window of the Zesto Pizza and Grill on the 6000 block of Ridge Avenue early Friday morning on September 7.

Police say once inside, the suspect took the cash drawer, which contained an undetermined amount of money, then took off in an unknown direction.

Surveillance video shows the man walking outside of the restaurant.

Police describe the suspect as a white man with a thin build, standing 5'8" and 6' tall. He was seen wearing a dark baseball cap, a t-shirt and plaid shorts. Police say the man may have a tattoo on his right forearm.
