2 men Force Woman To Ground, Steal Purse

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police need your help to find two men they say forced a 23-year-old woman to the ground, physically assaulted her and then stole her purse.

According to police, two men approached the woman from behind just after 2 a.m. on August 29 on the 2300 block of North Park Avenue.

Police say the two men forced her to the ground and physically assaulted her before taking her purse.

The two then ran away and were reported to have been heading west on York Street from Park Avenue.

Police describe one of the suspects as a black man standing 5'9" tall 20-years of age. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants. The second suspect is described by police as a black man of the same age, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants.
