Plymouth Township police officers on Friday escorted the body of Officer Bradley Fox from the hospital to a funeral home.
SkyFOX flew over the procession Friday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.
Officer Fox was killed in the line of duty on Thursday night. Police say he was responding to a hit-and-run crash.
"There are just no words that can begin to express the magnitude of this tragedy for Officer Fox's family, his wife, for his, for his beautiful girl... his law enforcement family in the Plymouth Police Department and the entire Montgomery County law enforcement family and community," Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said during a press conference Thursday night.
Fox leaves behind a wife and daughter. The family was expecting a second child, officials said.
Fox is the Plymouth Police Department's only officer to die in the line of duty.

This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
