South Whitehall Township Police have a man in custody for stabbing his half-brother overnight Saturday.
The incident happened just after 3:30AM Saturday on the 2200 block of Walbert Avenue. Police were initially called on a report of a disturbance. Police observed a man, later identified as Christopher Scott Lloyd II, 31, on the kitchen floor bleeding from his stomach. Lloyd was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police say the apparent cause was multiple sharp force injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The manner of death according to police is homicide.
Police say that Lloyd, Lloyd's half-brother Cory Maletsky, Joshua Eisenhauer, and another person identified only as "W.C." were at the home of Eisenhauer on the 1500 block of North Leh Street in Allentown, not far from Maletsky's home on the 2200 block of Walbert Avenue. The group was said to have been watching television and drinking alcoholic drinks.
While at the home on Leh Street, a physical altercation took place between Maletsky and Lloyd. Maletsky stated Lloyd had hold of his throat and was punching him in the face. Maletsky pulled a knife from a sheath in his boot and stabbed Lloyd multiple times in the torso.
Maletsky is currently in custody and being charged with Criminal Homicide. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Saturday and be taken to Lehigh County Prison to await a preliminary hearing. There is no bail on the charge of Criminal Homicide.
