Police in Bucks County are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle that killed its driver.
The accident happened this afternoon after 1PM on Upper Tinicum Church Road in Tinicum Township. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Police say the driver, Dan Esposito, 31, of Upper Black Eddy, was driving a Kawasaki 750 CC motorcycle in the southbound lanes of Upper Tinicum Church Road. Esposito tried navigating a sharp curve in the roadway when he crossed into the northbound lane, skidded and slid off the roadway, hitting a tree. Esposito was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not believed anyone witnessed the crime. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
