Royals Sue, But More Tabloids Publishing Topless Photos Of Kate

Posted: Updated:

The British royals file a lawsuit against a French magazine over topless photos of Prince William's wife, Kate Middeleton.

A spokesperson for Saint James' Palace says they are suing for breach of privacy.

This comes as more and more publications around the world are choosing to show the pictures.

An Italian gossip magazine has announced plans for a 26-page spread.

The Irish "Daily Star" published the photos on Saturday. The editor of the papers says Kate should have known better.

But many others disagree and feel that, yes, the tabloids have crossed the line.

William and Kate, meanwhile, are keeping a stiff upper lip as they continue with their nine-day tour of the Solomon Islands.
