Service Problems, Downed Wires Snarled SEPTA Commute

Posted: Updated:

Commuters found themselves facing delays or, in some cases, without service along some of SEPTA Regional Rail lines Monday morning.

According to the SEPTA website, at least three SEPTA Regional Rail Lines were experiencing some type of service delay or alert.

By lunchtime Monday, SEPTA was reporting that the Lansdale/Doylestown line was experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes, down from 60 minutes earlier in the morning, due to wire problems, while the Manayunk/Norristown line was expected to be suspended until 1 p.m.

SEPTA's Warminster line was also still experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes as of late morning due to wire problems.

You can track the status of SEPTA bus and regional rail lines on its System Status page.
