2 Suspects Empty Safe At Abington Township McDonalds

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA -

Two men, one armed with a gun, forced the manager of  Montgomery County McDonalds to empty the restaurant's safe, then took off with an unknown amount of cash.

Abington Township Police say the two suspects entered the Old York Road McDonalds shortly after 6 a.m.

While one remained at the front of the store with restaurant employees, another went to the office and forced the manager to empty out the safe, according to police.

The two were then seen running on foot towards Chester Avenue.

Police describe the suspects as black men of average height and weight. The two were seen wearing hooded sweatshirts and had scarves covering their faces.
