HERSHEY, Pa. -

A $300 million plant is now churning out chocolate goodies in Hershey.

With its state of the art technology, just one line alone can produce up to 70-million Hershey Kisses in a day.

The plant is expected to have a $1 billion economic impact in Pennsylvania over five years through supplier contracts, payroll and related spending.

Gov. Tom Corbett says the new shop was a good investment for the commonwealth.

Hershey has 4,800 employees in Pennsylvania and 14,000 worldwide.
