
ALL BEEF BALLS
1 lb. ground chuck
1 egg
1-2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 tsp fresh chopped parsley
Handful of bread crumbs
Handful of grated locatelli cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
Scoop and roll, approximately 2.5 oz. Place on greased baking sheet.
Cook 45 minutes @ 400 degrees. Makes about 10 balls
TOMATO GRAVY
Oil
1 large onions, diced
2 T salt
1 T black pepper
2-3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 12 oz. can tom paste
1 12 oz. can tom sauce
3 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes
Add ~3 cans of water
12 basil leaves, whole
1 T chopped parsley
Heat oil on medium heat. Saute onions 5 minutes adding salt and pepper. Then add garlic and sauté 2 more minutes. Add 1 can paste and 'fry' for 10 minutes.
**Stir constantly or sauce will burn!**
Add all tomatoes (1 sauce and 3 crushed). Add water. Stir in parsley and basil.
Cook for 2 hours. Keep stirring!!
