Police Release Lohan Accident Surveillance Video

Posted: Updated:

Police in New York City on Thursday released surveillance video of Lindsay Lohan allegedly hitting pedestrian earlier this week.

Where Lohan goes, it seems trouble is sure to follow.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested and issued a ticket for allegedly clipping the pedestrian with her Porsche and then leaving the scene at the Dream Hotel in Chelsea.

Hotel cameras caught all the commotion.

Speaking earlier with FOX 5 in New York, TMZ'S Harry Levin said the surveillance video at the very most shows her brushing up against the guy, and TMZ was told that two detectives who saw it were split. One thought she made no contact with the guy, the other thought she brushed him.

Reportedly, the alleged victim is a chef at a nearby restaurant and claims Lohan reeked of alcohol and was slurring her words.

NYPD says no alcohol was involved but admits Lohan's blood-alcohol level was never checked at the scene.

According to one published report, the chef claims his knee was badly hurt. Yet, on surveillance video he was allegedly seen going after Lohan's car.

Levin said he doesn't think the charges are going to stick. Experts say Lindsay better hope that's the case.

While this latest charge is a misdemeanor, it could trigger a violation of her probation on theft charges and land her back behind bars.
