PHILADELPHIA -

As part of the program "Hope On Wheels," area Hyundai Dealers donated a total of $325,000 to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to help fund pediatric cancer research.

On Thursday, hospital patients and staff were on-hand for the presentation of the "Hope" and "Scholar" grants from the organization.

A grant for $250,000 was donated to support the work of Dr. Michael D. Hogarty and a $75,000 grant was given to Dr. Angela Sievert.

Children at the presentation dipped their hands in paint and then put their handprints on a Hyundai Tucson to commemorate their battles with cancer.

The Hope On Wheels program works to raise awareness for childhood cancer and to celebrate the lives of children battling the disease.
