Armed Robber Strikes Laundromat

Delaware State Police are investigating a Sunday morning armed robbery at a Wilmington laundromat.

Troopers say the incident happened just before 7 a.m. at the Spin City Laundromat on the 3600 block of Miller Road. The suspect entered the laundromat wearing a ski mask and was armed with a handgun. The suspect confronted the employee working and demanded money. The worker met his demands and gave an unknown amount of money before the suspect fled on foot. No one was hurt during the incident.

The suspect was described as being 25-30 years old, about 5'8" and approximately 170 pounds. He was also wearing dark clothing.
