Chicago's Most Wanted: Evergreen Park bank robber

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

This week's Chicago's Most Wanted features a robber who mixed real and fake when he recently held up a bank in a south suburb. The FBI is hoping to track him down before he strikes again.

The takeover robbery took place on Sept. 15, 2012 at the First American Bank branch at 87th and Kedzie in Evergreen Park.

The robber walked in the bank around 9:30 a.m., approached the teller counter, pulled a silver revolver from his waistband and announced the robbery.

He not only demanded and got money from two teller drawers, but he then directed the bank employees - at gunpoint - to get him more money from the vault.

After getting the money, the man left the store. Fortunately there were no injuries.

The FBI determined he was wearing a fake beard and mustache from the photos captured by the bank security camera. He also wore a hat, and was seen leaving the bank with a bright red towel in his hand.

The FBI describes the bandit as:

Black male.

40 to 50 years old.

Thin build.

He was wearing a navy blue jacket and silver jogging pants. He also wore a fake beard and mustache and carried a silver revolver.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him call police.

The FBI is calling this individual the TCF Bank Bandit. It says, since last summer, he has robbed at least four banks and all the robberies took place at TCF banks.

This is a case that could be solved by someone on a vacation. At least that's what the FBI is hoping as they once again seek the public's help in tracking down Arnoldo Jimenez.
