Home Partially Collapses With Infant Inside

Kensington -

Repairs are underway at a  Kensington row house after it partially collapsed.

"I'm mad! I'm upset and frustrated," yelled Alexis Bryan.

She's  fuming because she lives in the crumbling house on the 22-hundred block of Waterloo Street.

"I  just saw  it come down!!! The whole wall, " she recalled.

During that time,  all she could think about was the safety of her newborn son Tim.

She was feeding him when her home started falling apart.

"My son is only three months old.  What if he  would have gotten hurt?  Or it was in front of the door and I couldn't get out. "

Luckily she says the bricks, window frames  and sheetrock showered down outside the home.

"I was terrified when I heard," exclaimed neighbor Suzie Rodriguez.  "I  heard three bangs and I  didn't know what it was. I  thought it was a gunshot or something."

"The  home that partially collapsed, isn't  the only home presenting a danger...the  other homes next to it were evacuated until repairs can be made."

At  least 8 people were evacuated from all three row homes.

Like Rodriguez, we're told they're staying with family and friends until repairs are made.

Bryan says an ongoing remodeling project weakened by the rain likely caused the collapse of her house.

While construction crews try to cement the problem. Bryan is just hoping it's done right.

"I hope he did it secured. I don't it falling down again."
