Police Identify Berks County Homicide Victim

Cumru Township Police have identified a homicide victim who was found at Thun Trail Sunday morning.

Police say the victim found off of Route 724 is Luis E. Salas-Ramos, 41, from Reading. He had recently moved to Reading. He has also resided in Puerto Rico, Lancaster, PA and York, PA. Salas was also known to frequent the Silver Dollar Bar and the Puerto Rican Club.

 

Police are still investing what happened. Salas's death was ruled a homicide after he was found shot multiple times. He was found wearing blue jeans and a red sweatshirt with yellow lettering that says "Do I Look Like a People Person".

The Reading Police Department and the Berks County District Attorney's Office are helping in the investigation of this case.
