LOS ANGELES -

Jess is back, singing her way into season two of "New Girl" on FOX.

In an interview with Jay towers, actress Zooey Deschanel says her character will have exciting love, exciting jobs, and more hilarious scenarios in season two.

"New Girl" is a comedy that focuses on quirky, fun-loving Jessica "Jess" Day. After going through a rough break-up, Jess needed a place to live. An online search sent her to a loft and she moved in with three single, male roommates: Nick, Schmidt, and Winston.

"New Girl" was created by Liz Meriwether, who also writes produces the show.

The series premiered on FOX in September of 2011, and is returning to FOX's fall line up. You can catch a new episode of "New Girl" on FOX 2 at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, followed by the season premiere at 9 p.m.
