Cape May Police say one person died after a fire sparked in a Cape May Home Tuesday morning.
The fire sparked at a home on the 1200 block of Washington Street.
By about 8:30 a.m., police confirmed to Fox 29 that one person was killed in the fire. Investigators have identified the victim as 54-year-old Erik Watson.
The Cape May Fire Department says Watson, who was a resident of the building, was pronounced dead at the scene.
