Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Philly 7-11

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery at a Frankford Avenue 7-11 earlier this month.

Police say the man walked into a 7-11 on the 9900 block of Frankford Avenue on September 16 with a silver handgun.

The suspect then ordered an employee behind the counter and forced him to open the cash register.

Police say the suspect then took an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer and left.

The suspect was seen leaving in a 2004 or earlier model Chrysler 300, driven by an accomplice.

Police describe the suspect as white man, standing 5'6" tall with dark hair and a goatee. The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black Addidas type track pants.

Police say four people have been shot. According to authorities, a 3-year-old girl was shot, one time in the left side of her chest. She was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was pronounced dead.
