Crooks targeted a family and took the one thing a little boy needs to survive, but thanks to our Fox 29 viewers and viewers from across the country, the family is getting some help.
Fox 29's Bruce Gordon first told you about five-year-old Wyatt Daring Tuesday night.
Wyatt was born with a rare genetic disorder that makes it impossible for him to regulate his body temperature on a hot day. As a result, he must wear a special vest to keep him cool.
Because his vest was stolen, Wyatt now has to wear a vest that is too small for him.
Money is tight for his family and these types of vests can be very expensive.
Now, in response to our story, the company that makes the vest has stepped forward to donate a brand new one to Wyatt and his family.
