NFL, Referees Reach Deal To End Lockout

Posted: Updated:

The deal is done. The National Football League and referees have agreed to end a lockout.

The referees' union and the NFL reached an agreement Wednesday night to end a three-month lockout. Both sides got serious after replacement refs blew a big call Monday night.

The mistake cost the Green Bay Packers a win against the Seattle Seahawks.

Frustrated fans are glad to see the officials go back to work.

The NFL's regular refs will be back on the field Thursday night at the Cleveland Browns-Baltimore Ravens game.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has been out this morning in South Philadelphia getting fan reaction and filed this video report.
