Eastbound I-76 Ramp To I-676 Reopens After Crash

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

A crash on the ramp from the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway to the Vine Street Expressway is now blocking just one lane on the ramp.

Check: Latest Traffic Conditions

The crash around 6:30 a.m. involved a tractor-trailer that hit the median Interstate 76's Exit 344 ramp to I-676 East, temporarily closing the ramp.

By 7 a.m., the tractor-trailer was blocking only the left lane. But the damage was done.

Heading east on the Schuylkill, there was a 28-minute delay. So expect a big backup in that direction as you get close to the Vine.

Westbound lanes were crawling by the scene with a 4-minute delay, thanks to rubbernecking and slick roads.
