SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -

A police chase that started in Kensington Thursday afternoon ended in the Penn's Landing area and police say the driver maintained normal speeds the entire time.

SkyFOX flew over the scene as several police officers surrounded a green van.

Fox 29 reporter Chris O'Connell reports it all started in Kensington, where a driver smashed into two cars.

Police attempted to pull the van over, but it kept going, leading them to I-95.

Police say the van kept normal speeds but never stopped.

After hitting a police car, police say the driver stopped at a red light on Columbus, just a few feet away from a union picket line.

Police say the driver sustained the only injuries and is now in the hospital on suspicion of DUI.
