DETROIT (WJBK) -
Less than a week after a father of three was fatally stabbed outside a Detroit night club, another reported incident at Club Pandemonium was posted online.
A cell phone video posted on Facebook claiming to be from inside the club Thursday night shows a packed dance floor clear out as two shots are fired. The blurry video paints a chaotic scene. "Come on man. Come on dog," says a voice on a microphone amongst the screams. Meanwhile, patrons can be heard yelling, 'go, go, go' as the dance floor empties out.
It is not known if anyone was hit by the shots. Detroit police are not commenting on the video.
Early Sunday morning, 40-year-old bouncer Lou Ferrin was stabbed in the neck by a man he was ejecting from the club. Chief Ralph Godbee says police identified the suspect as 20-year-old LaVelle Dumas. Police were able to track him down Thursday, arresting him about noon.
Dumas is jailed on a first-degree murder charge and faces arraignment Friday afternoon. It's unknown if he has a lawyer.
Thirty-eight-year-old Club Pandemonium bouncer Marcel Jackson was fatally shot June 20 in a dispute with a male customer.
Visitation for Ferrin will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hopcroft Funeral Home (31145 John R Road) in Madison Heights. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Christian Church (33801 Van Dyke) in Sterling Heights.
