What Are The Area's Top High Schools?

What are the best high schools in Philadelphia and across the region and, more importantly, is your child attending one of those schools?

Tom McGrath of Philadelphia Magazine discussed the magazine's pick for top high schools on Good Day Friday morning.

Organizers behind the list say they took into consideration everything from SAT scores, to achievement scores on state standardized tests to the number of extracurricular activities in sports.

Unionville in Chester County, Harriton and Lower Merion in Montgomery County and Masterman in Philadelphia were among the schools ranked in the top 10.
