Flyers Build New Playground For Kids In North Philly

The Philadelphia Flyers had their construction skills put to the test Friday as they worked with members of the North Philadelphia community to build a new playground in less than 24 hours.

Team alumni and staff joined members of the community to build the playground in an area on the 600 block of east Indiana Avenue.

Organizers say the project is part of a nationwide effort to build more than 150 playgrounds across the country this year.
