Armed Robbery at New Jersey Gas Station Leaves One Shot

Willingboro Police responded to an armed robbery at a local gas station early Sunday morning.

According to police, at around 12:15am witnesses reported a robbery at the Lukoil gas station on Route 130 and Charleston Road.

Police say two suspects approached the attendant from behind, while he was helping customers. One suspect pointed a handgun at the attendant and demanded money. The attendant gave the suspects an unknown amount of cash, and he was subsequently shot in the leg. The suspects fled on foot towards Sydney Lane.

The victim was transported to Cooper Hospital with a non-life threatening injury, and was later released.

The first suspect is described as a 6-foot black male with a thin build, and wearing dark clothing with red writing on his shirt.

The second suspect is described as a 5-foot and a half black male with a thin build, and wearing dark clothing.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Willingboro Police Department at 609-877-3001.
