School Open, Football Game On After Skin Infection

Posted: Updated:

Students at a high school in Bucks County are returning to classes Monday morning after a health scare on the football team forced a thorough cleaning of the school.

As we first told you, health officials found Impetigo, a contagious skin infection caused by staph and strep bacteria on about 20 players from Council Rock South.

School officials say the team locker room, weight room and showers have been completely sanitized.

Their football game Friday night was canceled. The school will make up that game tonight.
