Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum will sit out of practice for three weeks, the team announced Monday.
Bynum, who was diagnosed with a bone bruise of the medial femoral chondyle of his right knee, will miss three weeks of practice to "maximize the therapeutic effects of the Orthokine therapy" he received earlier this month.
The team says he will continue to participate in low impact conditioning drills.
Bynum was one of the new players introduced over the summer at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
