Online Grocer Launches In Philadelphia With Edible Press Conference

FreshDirect presents a $5,000 check to Philabundance.

PHILADELPHIA -

FreshDirect, which has been serving the New York metro area for the last decade, celebrated its Philadelphia launch and 10th birthday at city hall Monday.

The launch included what organizers called an all edible press conference and the presentation of a $5,000 check to Philabundance.

FreshDirect says it will cover Center City's eight zip codes.
