FOX 2's Charlie LeDuff got a call from Detroit Police Lieutenant Monique Patterson. She said she had some text messages showing that she had sex with Ralph Godbee in exchange for a promotion.

Suspended Detroit Police Chief Ralph Godbee is expected to return home from California today, but whether he talks about the sex scandal swirling around his department remains unknown.
Meanwhile, officials are keeping quiet as questions continue to pile up.
On Tuesday, Mayor Dave Bing suspended Godbee for 30 days with pay amid allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a subordinate.
Internal affairs officer Angelica Robinson told FOX 2 that she and Godbee had over a year-long relationship. She says she posted a photo of herself on Twitter (see right) with her service weapon in her mouth after learning Godbee was at a weekend conference with another woman.
FOX 2's Charlie LeDuff confirmed that Godbee saw the photo on Saturday and provisioned on-duty officers to go to Farmington and check on her. Sources tell LeDuff they triangulated her phone to find her. Godbee's crew did not notify Farmington Police about their actions, which has raised issues about jurisdiction.
In the meantime, spokeswoman Eren Stephens requested that all media questions be addressed in email form. FOX 2 obliged and emailed a list of questions that included: the department's stance on internal relationships, whether Robinson received a promotion within the last year, who paid for Godbee's conference in San Diego and who footed the bill for his the alleged mistress. Stephens has yet to respond.
Assistant Chief Chester Logan will assume Godbee's responsibilities during the suspension.
