It's a "Torrie's Take Thursday!"

                Ladies, in case you haven't noticed it's all about Leather this season! You can't go into any clothing store and not see something with leather detail, and I'm not just talking about leather jackets. Of course for most of our pockets...Faux-leather is more affordable. There's nothing wrong with Faux my friends, just make sure it's quality! Now many people have asked me how can EVERYONE rock this trend?

Here's my take:

               First up are my Plus-sized Ladies! Sue Serio said to me "Cutie-pie" I want to wear leather but how should I style it? Check out this faux leather skirt from Lane Bryant. I also like this pencil skirt with leather-detail. Both would look great with a long-sleeved shirt, bangles, hoop earrings, opaque tights, and either platform pumps or booties. You can also do a blazer on top. If you're not a fashion novice--than try printed tights or a funky scarf, like a leopard one! Now curvy ladies can also do the leather skinny pants, like these from Asos (Jenn Fred and I LOVE Asos)! This too would look great with a blazer or a loose fitting shirt--maybe dolman shape or with a peplum bottom. Just make sure that the booty is covered! Pair this with a pump or booties. If you want to add a pop of color--do so with your footwear and your accessories. Lastly, Ladies there's the old faithful---a Leather Jacket! You can't go wrong with a cute cropped leather jacket. This can go over a dress, skirt or with your jeans! Again have fun with your shirt and accessories to make the outfit pop! A jacket with leather sleeves is also a great option!

               Petite Ladies--I like Leather Dresses and A-line Skirts for us girls! How cute is this Nicole Richie for Macy's faux leather dress?!! Now I like pairing our leather looks with lace as well, like this Zara dress! Again add some fun accessories! For us little people the shorter the better, it makes us look taller :). So this little Zara skirt has my name all over it! The A-line skirts look amazing with a sheer blouse and pumps. Also your leather skirt doesn't have to be black! Check out this Alice and Olivia Garnet-colored skirt. Finally leather skinny pants with a sheer blouse, peplum shirt, or fitted tank and a blazer---has "Hot Date" written all over it!

               Lastly, for my in between ladies---Do a leather top! All of our favorite stores have amazing shirts with leather detailing. Some have leather sleeves or leather around the neckline. You ladies can also do leather skinny pants. As you can see I suggested them for all three categories. They work for all of us in my book, we just pair them with different tops to make the look work for our body types! SO girls let me know how you are rocking your leather this season!
