Philadelphia Police say they have made an arrest in the case of a robbery where the victim fought off the suspect inside of a South Philly 7-Eleven.
According to police, 26-year-old Erik Barrett was arrested at the Criminal Justice Center while appearing for another case.
Surveillance video of the suspect that was released helped lead to the arrest.
Early Monday morning, police say a man was approached and asked for a lighter in the area of the 2200 block of South Rosewood Street.
After a brief conversation, police say the suspect took out a gun and forced the victim to take money from an ATM at Broad and Jackson streets. The victim was then forced to go to a nearby 7-Eleven.
