Tracking The Best Times To See The Fall Foliage

Posted: Updated:

When it comes to the fall foliage, we're starting to enter the time where the leaves change quickly.

In our area, the "peak" coverage is still considered on the low side.

But if you head further north, you'll notice the leaves are quickly turning colors. Portions of New England, including areas in Maine, have already reached their peak time.

When it comes to coverage across our area, some years have been better than others. But typically, the peak coverage is mid-October to late October.

If you head further south, you'll notice the peak coverage happens in early November.

Fox 29 Meteorologist Caitlin Roth is tracking the best times to see the fall foliage. You can watch her report in the video above.

When you do cat pure some great fall shots, send them our way to UReport on myfoxphilly.com.
