New Website Gives Parents Closer Look At Philly Schools

A new website in Philadelphia aims to give parents a closer look at the schools their children may be attending.
Greatphillyschools.org is a collaboration of several nonprofit partnerships that includes everything from enrollment facts, maps and descriptions on more than 400 K-12 schools.
Creators say the website also offers school performance data that covers academics, safety, student engagement, graduation rates and college-enrollment rates.
The website allows parents to find a school using their address or zip code. You can search by grade level, overall quality and other options to compare schools.
Creators say they will continue to add data and improve the site.
