EVESHAM TWP, N.J. -

Police say they have no new leads in the case of an apparent hit-and-run collision that happened last week, but they are confident someone saw the vehicle involved.

On Monday, Evesham Police announced they would continuing to work with the 81-year-old driver to determine where the accident happened. However, they still have little information to go on.

Investigators say they are also not releasing the driver's identity.

Officers spent much of last week searching for the victim of an accident after police pulled over a  car with significant damage to its front passenger section Tuesday along East Main Street near Knox Boulevard in Marlton. Police say the damage was consistent with the car striking a person.

At the time the driver recalled hitting someone, but told police they weren't sure what it was or where it happened.

On Friday, police say they executed a search warrant on the vehicle. Evidence recovered has since been sent to the New Jersey State Police Lab for analysis.

Police say it's not clear when the results of lab tests on the evidence will be available.
