Teen Accused Of Beating Woman Apologizes In Court

The teen girls accused of viciously beating a mentally challenged woman in Chester last month appeared in court Monday.

Five of the teens waived their preliminary hearings.

During the proceedings, 16-year-old Anye Dennis apologized to the victim and her family.

Dennis' grandmother says the teen was not raised this way.

Her bail was reduced from $50,000 to $20,000.

The oldest teen accused had another hearing Monday afternoon.
