Camden Police confirm to Fox 29 they have made an arrest in a hit-and-run case that left a child in critical condition.
Police say they arrested 29-year-old Michael Casto of Camden Tuesday.
A two-year-old boy was injured when he ran out of a barber shop on the 400 block of N. 27th Street around 3:15 p.m. Sunday in Camden.
Police say the driver, Castro, initially stopped but then took off.
According to police, he removed a temporary tag from his car and then abandoned it at 31st and Harrison streets.
Police say the child is in critical but stable condition at Cooper Hospital.
