WIXOM, Mich. (WJBK) -

Wixom police are searching for a motorist who reportedly fired shots out of a vehicle Tuesday night.

Police say they were dispatched to the area north of Wixom and Loon Lake Roads around 7:15 p.m. after receiving two 911 calls. One man said he heard two gun shots while taking out his garbage. Another motorist called saying he saw the suspect traveling southbound on Wixom Road as he fired a pistol out the driver-side window.

No one was injured.

The shooter's vehicle is described as a dark-colored sports car with blue-tinted headlamp covers. One witness said it could have possibly been a newer model Ford Mustang.

Wixom police ask anyone with information to call (248) 624-6114.
