Kabang the dog lost her snout when she jumped in front of a motorcycle in the Philippines.
A dog from the Philippines who lost her snout saving two young girls will now have to wait a little longer for surgery to close up the wound on her face.
The dog's snout and upper jaw were torn off when she jumped in front of a motorcycle to save her owner's daughter and niece.
Last week, the dog, "Kabang," traveled to California for dental surgery.
But on Tuesday, vets at the University of California found the dog was in need of heartworm and chemotherapy treatment for a tumor.
Kabang has been missing her snout for nearly a year.
An international campaign raised the money to bring her to California for treatment.
