Frustrations Grow For Customers Of Local Medical Supply Company

Posted: Updated:
NEW HOPE, Pa. -

The frustration from customers of a company that's supposed to provide important medical equipment to people who are disabled has caught the eye of the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's Office.

We first told you about a wheelchair bound man last month who needs a new chair, but says he's had trouble getting one through the company.

Anthony Zaremba says he started the process of getting an electric wheelchair with American mobility back in July, 2011.

But more than a year later, Zaremba says he still doesn't have one.

He says the process can take months and it would be difficult to start everything all over again with another company.

Fox 29 has learned other customers have reported similar complaints against the company.

When Fox 29 asked the owner of the company why he was still taking orders from customers, he told us he wasn't.

Fox 29's Omari Fleming has more in the video above.
