PHILADELPHIA -

A lockdown placed on the James G. Blaine Elementary School in North Philadelphia has been lifted.

Philadelphia Police say parents have since been allowed inside the school to pick up students.

Fox 29's Omari Fleming reports the lockdown stemmed from a gun that was reported to be inside of the building.

So far, police say they have not found the weapon.
