President Barack Obama and former Gov. Mitt Romney put politics aside and trade in the blows for some laughs.
They spoke at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, an annual white-tie gala that benefits children in need.
Romney mocked his own wealth, while Obama joked he did much better in the second debate because he got a good nap during the first.
And the jokes continued from there
"I've already seen early reports from tonight's dinner: Obama embraced by Catholics; Romney dines with rich people," Romney said, joking about the media.
"Mitt is his middle name," Obama said. "I wish I could use my middle name."
The laughs won't last long. Obama and Romney will be back at it this Monday in their final debate before Election Day.
But the president kept the laughs going late by appearing on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Thursday night.
Obama spoke about hot-button issues, like the state of the economy and about millionaires paying a little more.
