Pockets of heavy rain and a few thunderstorms continue to make their way through our area Friday, but it still looks as if the weather will be dry for the weekend.

Fox 29's Sue Serio says as much as an inch of rain is likely to fall as part of the system moving through.

Despite the rain and thunderstorms, the air is still quite mild and temperatures are expected to reach the mid 70s by Friday afternoon.
