MEDIA, Pa. -

First on FOX: A former Colwyn Borough police officer has been found not guilty of using a stun gun on a handcuffed teen.

Trevor Parham, the former officer, had been accused by authorities of Tasering an underage suspect still handcuffed in a jail cell.

Parham then allegedly texted another officer, writing "LOL" when he described what he did.

A judge announced the ruling Wednesday morning.

The Delaware County Daily Times reported that Parham's attorney argued during the trial that the charges were politically motivated.
