CHERRY HILL, N.J. -

A suspect who police in New Jersey say committed his eighth robbery in just five days was taken into custody by Cherry Hill Police.

According to police, 43-year-old Robert Ford was arrested Tuesday.

Police say images of Ford were captured by surveillance cameras during a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy on the 700 block of College Drive in Gloucester Township last week.

Ford is accused of committing robberies from October 19th through the 23rd in Cherry Hill, Pennsauken, Deptford, Bellmawr, Voorhees, Maple Shade and Gloucester Township.

Police say in each robbery, a suspect always demanded cash and threatened that he had a gun but never showed the weapon.

According to police, the license plate of the suspect's black 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was read by a patrol officer in Cherry Hill on the first day an "Automatic License Plate Reader" was activated.
